Window cleaning goes high tech - meet the HOBOT-S6 Window Cleaning
Robot

Tired of streaky windows and never getting all the dirt off the glass, or never-
ending buckets, cloths and the headache of using ladders to reach all
windows? Well, there is a new game-changer on the market to do the work for
you.

The HOBOT-S6 Pro Window Cleaning Robot has just been introduced in South
Africa by leading lifestyle technology company Solenco. This high-tech
lightweight robot is the first dual mop-polish robot, which combines advanced
technology, safety features and an eco-friendly design.

Solenco director Trevor Brewer says his company is committed to sourcing
products with a sterling international reputation, and HOBOT has been a
pioneer in the robot window cleaning industry since its inception in 2010.

“We believe that this particular product will appeal to South Africans living in
penthouses and golf estates – any windows that cover a large or particularly
high surface area that are difficult to clean manually, or for anyone wanting a
hands-off and premium window cleaning experience.”

The HOBOT-S6 Pro Window Cleaning Robot specs:

This device features a patented dual mop reciprocating polish system, operating at an impressive 600 times per minute with a 4mm stroke. This
high-frequency action effectively removes stubborn dirt and grime,
ensuring your windows remain clear and shiny for longer periods.
Additionally, the dual ultrasonic water spray system nebulizers water into
fine mist particles, providing a thorough clean without leaving any water
stains.

Thanks to the ultra-fast wiping action, the static electricity on the window is
neutralised at the same time to ensure a long-lasting, clear, and shiny
window, free from leftover mop debris.

The two caterpillar belts attached to HOBOT move quickly at 12cm per
second, allowing the HOBOT-S6 Pro to clean 1m² area in 2.6 minutes, while
the enlarged and extended cleaning cloths can reach deep into corners for
the largest coverage of up to 26×26cm² areas.

Safety is a top priority. The robot is designed with an anti-falling control
algorithm, secure DC power jack, and an Uninterruptible Power System
(UPS) that provides a 20-minute backup in case of power outages. For
added security, a 4.5-meter safety rope ensures the device stays in place
during operation. The eco-friendly design includes washable microfiber
cleaning cloths and a replaceable water tank, reducing waste and
promoting sustainability.

The HOBOT-S6 Pro offers intelligent control options through a smartphone
app or remote control. Users can customise voice prompts and update
firmware via the app, ensuring they always have access to the latest
features and improvements.

It is designed for glass of all thickness, including thin and thick glass,
multilayer glass and laminated glass, while it moves well over rough areas
as well.

Its high efficiency brushless DC motor and metal fan ensures a long lifespan,
durability and low noise.

“Whether you live inland or on the coast, this remarkable piece of technology
will give you sparkling clean windows in a short space of time. Technology like
this is a game-changer and will turn a home into a smart home, saving time,
energy and is kind to the environment,” Brewer says.
