An update on navigating stock shortages
You may be aware that we are experiencing stock shortages, and we know that this could be incredibly frustrating for you. We are very sorry about the situation, which goes against the ethos of service excellence that we consistently strive to uphold.
The delay is due to the crisis that is currently unfolding at major South African ports. We, together with many other South African businesses that import goods, have been severely affected. We are reliant on the port authorities to clear our products through customs as quickly as possible but, with 60,000 – 70,000 containers stuck in a backlog, the matter is largely out of our control.
In order to solve the problem on our side, we have explored alternative import routes, but prohibitively high costs prevent this from being a viable option.
We will be sending regular updates, particularly to customers who have pre-ordered units, filters and / or other consumables needed to keep existing units running properly. Items out of stock are now available for pre – order, and we will notify you as soon as stock is available.
Rest assured that we are working tirelessly with our shipping provider to overcome the challenges and rectify the matter as soon as possible.
